Biography:
Micaela started competing through Texas 4-H Shooting Sports when she was 10 years old. She played every sport imaginable up to that point but once she started shooting shotgun, it became her passion.
In 2019, Micaela traveled all over Texas competing in Texas 4-H shooting competitions. She won both the Lady Jr American Overall and Lady Jr International Overall titles at the Texas 4-H Shooting Sports State Games.
In 2021 she started competing in USA Shooting competitions in International Trap. Since then, Micaela has continued to compete in both 4-H and USA Shooting events, pivoting back and forth between American disciplines and international disciplines. She won several more individual Texas 4-H State titles along with multiple national titles through USA Shooting.
Most recently, Micaela competed at the 2025 USA Shooting Selection Match and earned a spot on both the Junior National Team and the National Team.
Micaela will be graduating from high school in May of 2026 and plans to attend a college that has a shotgun team so she can continue to compete at the collegiate level.
She is excited about the prospect of traveling all over the world to compete for USA Shooting and will continue to strive for the goal of making the U.S. Olympic team.
